Rainie started in the media business when she was 14. That was when she started to appear in Hong Kong movies and commercials. A year later, she tried out for a new girlband, 4 in Love, launched by BMG Records and made it. That was the big break that she wanted.
Later on, Rainie recieved a small role in the hit drama series Meteor Garden. Eventhough her role was minor, it was enough to push Rainie into the drama business. Afterwards, she began to star in more and more dramas and films, sending her popularity off the charts.
Eventually, the band 4 in Love disbanded in 2002, but Rainie did not leave the entertainment business. She pursued a carear as a talk show host, and with the experience she gathered as a successful actress and host, she decided to pursue singing again. In 2005, Rainie launched her solo album "My Inuition" (Ai Me). It was a huge success, making Rainie an International hit.
Rainie continues to amaze and entertain people from around the world, which makes her one of the biggest stars in the Chinese industry.
