MusicBack | ForwardWhat the manga sorely lacks is music to bring out the mood, but the music in Devil Beside You takes care of that problem. They are slightly sparse, but extremely tasteful and well chosen. They suit the mood of scenes they represent and if you're anything like me, you'll be playing them on repeat over and over again. Remember, these should be only used as a trial. Please support the artists by purchasing the CD if you like the song.Chou Nan Ren (Jerk) - The opening theme song is sung by Huang Yi Da and it has a rock almost punk beat. I think it's supposed to reflect Ah Meng's character. Honestly, in the beginning, I didn't really care for this song because I found it to be too harsh, but it grew on me. I think it suits the opening sequences in the drama. Ai Mei (My Intuition) - The ending song is not only extremely beautiful, but is sung by none other than Rainie Yang, the leading actress. I love the softness and the expressiveness. It was a huge hit in China and Taiwan and after listening to it, you'll understand why. Li Xiang Qing Ren (Ideal Lover) - Another wonderful song sung by Rainie. This is played in every romantic scene in the series and that's probably what makes me love it even more then Ai Mei. It brings a lot of wonderful memories and again, Rainie's soulful voice is shown through. Other Background MusicHere are some miscellaneous music played once or twice in the drama. They're all a part of the Devil Beside You OST. Descriptions will come later.
