The next day, she found out that the boy she confessed to was none other then Edogawa Takeru, the school's ultimate bad boy and principal's son. Using her confession letter, he blackmailed Kayano into becoming his slave. Suddenly, her normal life was turned up-side-down and made into a living hell. To make matters even worse, her mother became engaged to the principal of her school. Overnight, Takeru began to dominate her life, inside of school and out.
However, as time progressed, interest began to develop between the soon-to-be step-siblings. Does this kind of relationship stand a chance? The reader will follow the life of Kayano as she tries to deal with the stubborn and sometimes crude, Takeru and all the obstacles that get in the way of their relationship.
Akuma De Sourou is perhaps one of my favourite mangas of all time. Takanashi Mitsube is very talented at portraying and developing her characters. Her artwork is also something to be admired and it gets even better as the manga develops. Her characters wear interesting (sometimes slightly odd) clothing and their hair design is beautiful. Her facial expressions are top notch.
The actual plot of the story is extremely engaging. It makes you laugh, cry and scream all in a single volume. You might find it to be slightly unbelievable when you read the synopsis, but the flow of the manga makes everything seem very realistic and plausible. If you've never read it, I highly recommend it. You definitely won't be disappointed.
